yes.. the key to stopping such abandonment of cats is education.

But the effects of education won't happen overnight. Indeed, it may well take a whole generation before the lessons sink in.

So what can we do in the meantime?

Cull all these cats??

So I guess all these welfare societies will still have to continue their work.

And also, do note that HDB regulations DISALLOW the keeping of cats in flats. So what more can these welfare carers do to take care of the cats?

Go figure~

Yes up till now HDB refuses to allow the keeping of cats, and only ONE small dog allowed. Yet I know of people keeping BIG dogs in condos that are SMALLER than a HDB.

Sometimes this fucking infuriating logic pisses me off!

And because HDB is the bigger entity, AVA will never dare to get involve.

yarr..

actually AVA have been pushing HDB to allow, with veterinary science no less, refuting all of HDB's concerns.

BUTTT, HDB refuses to budge..

and this goes on and on and perpetuates the vicious cycle, cumulating in such incidents like the yishun st 71 case, abt the cats scratching cars... (which is abt as likely as if you and i can scratch car paint with our fingernails)

liddat how?

*sigh*
