*sigh* this is so romantic.not just having romantic parts but romantic as whole.like **he was more than willing to endure the hardships of a life lived in the wilderness, if that life included Ennis.** and yeah, you gotta keep holding on to your most dear one, everything else can be achieved together.
i read the poem.i wonder what kind of role will Bess have here.
so Jack is an aristocrat.or was.or would be.wonder how he started all this.
thank you

I had a flashback during the conversation between Bess and Cassie. Adam Cartwright? If this had taken place in the states I would swear that we were visiting Bonanza. I love that show.

I'm worried about what Kay will do to Ennis now that he knows his brother is involved with a highwayman. I do hope Jack and Ennis will be able to escape together.

I'm really looking forward to your next chapter. I'm hooked on this story. : )

Hi Connie,
Having San Diego burn all around me, I'm still looking for something to take my mind of reality, a long time ago I read about the famous Highwayman Claude Du Val,like your Jack ,he loved to talk, was a polite Thief, the woman adored him and the man hated him, his end was not pretty. I hope you will not allow Jacks beautiful neck to be stretched in that way.
Thank you
