Ives' background sounds like a turn-of-the-century novel I read called "The Alienist", though major spoilers to a degree there ^^; This is getting great! I love the turn of the first meeting with Mycroft and Watson, and I do like how quickly Sherlock dismisses Watson's sister, to the point where he simply doesn't want to waste time, and Lestrade wanting to get the guy. ...I like Lestrade and Watson. They're fun and spend a lot of time trying to get Sherlock to act a little more human. I can't wait for the next part, even if it's where all the bad parts happen. I also like the use of Irene Adler here too Ok, enough rambling.
Feel free to ramble on! I love it when something I write inspires a response nearly as long as the work itself LOL! That means that I have provoked some passion and that is the aim of every writer.
I forgot to mention that I love the manip you did too, and am worried for Watson and want to slap Mycroft. then hug him. then slap him again for being an idiot. I somehow agree with Watson, though, Jekyll and Hyde didn't end well, and never does.
....if you keep treating Mycroft like this I'm going to guess you're a fan of that League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic/graphic novel, aren't you?
Fan of LofEG? As a matter of fact I both the original...the Black Dossier and the first of the Century three having had trouble finding the next one released earlier this year.
Sooooo...ummm...yeah!
Mycroft hasn't come out the best in this story I must admit but the man does get his hands dirty with government work and Sherlock does have reservations about his brother for some reason and feel free to smack Mycroft...you seriously have my permission!
Yeah nobody loves to hear about that so no worries I knew what you meant. Some as dangerous and scary as Ives came from somewhere and I thought when John shot people who would he think about.
You don't get that cold hearted and still be a doctor without some help.
Yeah I have to juggle a lot to get this one done LOL!
All that anger and rage and that practical streak when it comes to lethal matters came from somewhere...oh and Watson has severe trust issues...HELLOOOOOO!
As I see it I just connected the dots. Thanks for reading! Bart

LOL at Mycroft wanted to recruit Howard and Jim wants some superpower monsters to hunt him.
This's getting really exciting now! Everyone has their own motives and plans. You as the writer need to keep tracks of these, well done, sir :)
