I agree with much of what you said about the episode in general, and will say more about that later, but as you probably have guessed, I am upset about the Shelby thing but in my mind the only way they can repair this travesty is for Shelby to come back down the track (and it's fairly certain she will as it's been discussed) and realise just how selfish she was about Rachel ( ... )

Forgot to say, that yes I was pleased we got the fuller treatment of some of the songs although I would have loved the full Faithfully because as great as what we saw was, the full version is just gorgeous as I said before I believe, lol.

Maybe I was unclear in my post above but I do agree with you in this case. Gily. I'm very upset with Shelby. I thought what she did was horrible and of course selfish to the extreme.

I'm just so disappointed that the writers took this route. It's setting up for an unrealistic soap opera drama and it could have been handled better and differently. Shelby could have just left and her story with Rachel could have been brought back and resolved another time but now this complication makes it contrived and I kinda hate it.

Oh, I knew you agreed with me about being upset with Shelby, but we disagreed on whether Shelby should return or not, lol.

Yeah, I just don't get why they did this. THere was plenty of drama in Shelby being the rival glee club coach and Rachel's mother, why did they have to do this twist with a double pike, to throw a diving analogy in there.

Is it sad that the whole time I was watching them do "To Sir, With Love" I was wishing all the HP kids that had been there since the first film would have gotten together and sang it to David Heyman?

Aw you're so sentimental! Yeah I could see that. Though their singing would probably leave him running out screaming in pain in stead of tearing up and blowing them a kiss. LOL
