Chapter 17
Annabelle slowly woke up. Stretching out like a lazy cat, she felt her muscle ache. But at the thought of what happened last night made her smile.
They had innocently gone to take a bath together, but it soon started to become more passionate. Eventually it had led to a marathon of making love. It was like they both were possessed, they couldn’t get enough of each other.
After making incredible love they snuggled up to each other and cuddled. But cuddling made them hotter and soon they started again.
Annabelle looked at the clock. 9.15. ’Ah plenty of time to rest some more.’ With that Annabelle snuggled deeper into her lover, loving the feel of her against her body. It didn’t take long before sleep took over.

Once again Annabelle woke up first. Simone was still sleeping soundly.
’Even a bomb good go off next to her and she wouldn’t even notice‘, Annabelle thought and shook her head.
Simone did look adorable sleeping so soundly with a small smile on her face.
‘A smile I put there‘, Annabelle thought happily.
When she once again looked at the clock it shocked her. 11.30. She had been back to sleep for 2 hours. She needed to wake Simone up. She otherwise would be very grumpy if she missed breakfast. Well, it was more like a brunch.
”Wakey wakey, Simone”.
”Mmmm five more minutes”, Simone mumbled before turning around and snuggling into her pillow.
”No don’t think so. You will be grumpy if you don’t wake up now and eat something. And I’m not going to sit here and let you take my head off if you miss brunch.”
Simone just kept sleeping. She loved a lie in. In fact, she just loved to sleep.
Annabelle looked at her lover and an idea came into her head.
”Time for some action”.
Annabelle got up and walked to the other side of the bed. In one quick move she grabbed the blankets and pulled them off of Simone.
”What the?”
Having just woke up, Simone shivered. She looked at Annabelle and saw the glint in her eyes,
”ANNABELLE”, Simone shouted before running after her lover who quickly dumped the blankets and ran for cover.
Annabelle ran into the bathroom and locked it. She knew Simone didn’t appreciate what she did but it still made her laugh. Seeing the face she had pulled and hearing her curse made her laugh even harder.
”I’ll get you for this Annabelle, count on it”, Simone said before sitting on the bed and rubbing her eyes.
This was not how she had planned to wake up. Waking up a little bit, Simone was coming up with idea’s to get her lover back. A very cold idea came into her mind. Smiling to her self, she put her plan into action. Walking to the still closed bathroom door, she knocked.
”Come on Annabelle, let me in. I really need to go to the toilet.”
”How is your mood?”, Annabelle asked carefully, being suspicious.
”ANNABELLE. Come on, I really need to use it. Simone whined. “I’ll get you back another time.”
The door being unlocked was her answer. Turning the knob, she went inside. She walked through the door. The toilet and the shower were behind it.
Annabelle smiled sweetly and innocently at her.
’Innocent my arse ‘, Simone thought, smiling back.
She looked over her shoulder and saw Annabelle brushing her teeth, not looking at Simone. Knowing this was her chance, she went into the shower and grabbed the showerhead.
Standing in the doorway she turned on cold water and sprayed it on Annabelle, who let out a high shriek.
”SIMONE, JESUS THAT’S COLD. GO AWAY”, Annabelle yelled trying to escape from her lover’s payback.
Simone laughed until her stomach hurt. She turned the water off and put the showerhead back. She smiled evilly at her lover who didn’t look amused at all.
”Told you I would get you back. Besides, now you know how I feel when I’m nice and warm lying in bed when someone pulls away the nice warm blankets and lets in the cold air”.
Annabelle huffed and grabbed some towels to dry herself off. One she put around her hair and the other one she placed around her shoulders.
”Aww can’t my baby handle it when she gets the joke back only ten times worse.”
Annabelle just looked at her and pouted.
”My poor baby”, Simone teased her.
Annabelle had to laugh. She had to admit it was a good payback. She hadn’t seen it coming. Walking to her lover, she immediately put her arms around her waist.
”Well if you feel so sorry for me, why don’t you warm me up”, Annabelle said seductively.
”Don’t worry. I intend to”, Simone said before grabbing her hand and walking back to the bed.
They never made the breakfast/brunch. Simone and Annabelle went to the restaurant in their hotel. They both had healthy appetites. Hours of passionate lovemaking made them hungry and they needed energy because in two hours they would go diving. They ordered a big meal.

About two hours later
“Come on, Simone. Hurry up or we are going to be late”, Annabelle said, slightly annoyed.
“I’m coming, I’m coming.”
As soon as Simone came out of their hotel room, Annabelle grabbed her hand and pulled her to the elevator.
Arriving downstairs after a couple of minutes, Annabelle dragged Simone to the waiting car that would bring them to the ocean and their diving guide. The hotel provided cars for their quests to bring them everywhere they wanted.
Ten minutes later, they arrived at the meeting area. Thanking their driver, they got out and went to meet their guide.
This time, Annabelle didn’t drag Simone along with her after getting angry glare when she had tried.
“I’m sorry we are a little bit late”, Annabelle said apologetically to the guide.
“It’s alright, I was just preparing everything. I’m Najib”, the guide said sticking out his hand.
Annabelle shook his hand and introduced him to Simone who also shook his hand.
“Has either one of you dived before?”
“No, we haven’t, this is our first time”, Annabelle answered for the both of them.
He nodded. He then asked them what their sizes were. He grabbed two suits and passed them to the couple.
“These will provide warmth and protection. They will be a little bit tight at first because they are like a second skin so you can move better in the water. Over there you can change”, Najib pointed.
Simone and Annabelle got changed. They needed each other’s help to put on the wetsuits. After a while of some giggling and cursing, they had their suits on and they went back to their guide.
He told them how things worked, gave them instructions. He also taught them signs in case they needed help or panicked. They were ready to go.
“Ok we’re all set. Do you have some questions?”
“Eh, I do. You said the suit provided protection. Protection from what?” Simone asked.
She was still nervous. She had the idea of sharks stuck in her head.
“Protection against coral. As I said, don’t touch it. Some of them can be dangerous. The suits gives protection in case you accidentally come in contact with it. The suit protects your skin.”
“So-uh, there are like no sharks here?”, Simone asked, just in case.
“No not in these waters. There is another area for people who want to swim with them. Well, if there are no further questions we can go.”
They went into the boat that would bring them to the area where they were going to dive.
Annabelle had a huge smile on her face. Her dream was finally coming true. She looked over at Simone, who in return smiled a nervous smile. She did not want to spoil things by being nervous but Annabelle saw through her.
“Are you alright?”
“Yes I’m fine. Just little bit nervous”, Simone said.
“You know, I’m here if you need me. And we are safe, nothing will happen. But if you choose not to do it I understand. I can’t force you and I want you to be completely sure and not doing this because I want to”, Annabelle squeezed her hand.
“Since when are you so mature?”
“Since my girlfriend needs me to be. Just think about it”, Annabelle smiled letting her know she respected her wishes.
Simone smiled back, having already decided what to do.

“Let’s go in”, Najib said.
Annabelle turned to Simone. She wanted to know what she wanted to do.
“Annabelle I’m going to do this. I want to experience it with YOU. Yes I’m scared but I want to conquer my fear. Beside as long as we do this together I’m safe.”
“You sweet talker you”, Annabelle took Simone into her arms and hugged her tightly.
She gave her a loving kiss to reassure her and to let her know how happy she was. Together, hand in hand, they were ready.
“We’re ready to go in”, Annabelle said to Najib.
Najib nodded and guide them into the water. Annabelle jumped into the water and in a couple of seconds she was floating. Waiting for Simone.
Simone nervously and slowly went into the water. Once she was in the water, Annabelle swam to her. She gave her a smile that said it would be ok.
Simone grabbed her hand; it made her feel safe.
“Ok. Put the mouthpiece into your mouth and don’t let it go until you come up”, Najib said.
The couple nodded and both put the mouthpieces into their mouths. They were ready to go under. The guide went first so he could keep a close eye on them.
Annabelle looked at Simone to let her know she was going. Seeing the fear in her eyes, she squeezed her hand.
“Let’s go together alright? At the count of three”, Simone nodded.
“One…two…three.”
The both went under water. They swam to their guide. He lead them off to explore some fish. Their first impressions was a lot of beautiful colours. All colours where there in the coral as well in the fish.
They were swimming at a safe distant above the coral. Suddenly a big eel came out of it, scaring Simone.
The guide let them know it’s was safe and it was not the dangerous one. He stroked the eel on its body letting them see it was ok.
Annabelle stretched out her hand and touched it. It was a strange feeling but not unpleasant, she would have thought it was slimy, but it wasn’t at all.
Simone stretched her hand also and touched, but as soon as it changed it direction, she got scared at the sudden move and pulled her hand away.
They swam further and saw a beautiful coloured fish. It was a beautiful blue with different colours on the tail. It was a parrot fish. They saw it swimming around them for a second before it swam away.
Annabelle just had time to take a picture with her underwater camera. She wanted to have their experience on photos.
Normally Simone would have taken the photos but she was still feeling to uncomfortable to take good pictures. She trusted Annabelle.
Najib pointed at the coral and they saw a shrimp crawling over the coral, looking for food.
Looking to their right, they saw anemone fishes swimming trough the beautiful rainbow coloured anemone.
And a little bit further they saw a five-legged starfish.
Najib swam to the bottom where he had spotted something.
Annabelle and Simone looked at him and suddenly a ray came from its hiding place from under the sand and swam away from the intruder.
They swam further away and saw many different kinds of fish. They also came along two turtles. They were big and Annabelle and Simone were shocked to see such big turtles. They caressed all kinds of fish that stayed long enough to be touched. When they got tired of it they swam away.
After diving for a while they had seen different colours and forms of fish. Some of them were big, some very small. Some of them were weird formed like the cuttlefish. And there were some very interesting ones like the tub gurnard.
Annabelle had taking as many pictures as she could. Sometimes she was so lost in the colours and they way the moved she forgot to take pictures.
Suddenly Simone had gotten comfortable enough and feeling brave, she took the camera and took the photos of Annabelle playing with the fish.
Having seen the most of the fish in the area, they were about to go, until Najib stopped.
There right in front of them were swimming dolphins. They were coming right to them.
Dolphins with their curious nature began to swim to them, wanting to know who they were ,maybe some new playmates.
They slowly began to play with them, liking the attention they got from the humans.
Simone had to laugh at them, they were cute and totally not scary at all.
After playing awhile, they went away, going further on their journey.
They swam back to the boat, but before climbing on board, Simone signalled she wanted a picture taken of Annabelle and her.
Najib grabbed the camera and took a picture of them together. He handed the camera back and he let Simone climb on board first, helping her.
Once she was on board he helped Annabelle up and he followed after her.
“So did you like it?”, he asked them.
“I had a great time. I never thought there were so many different kind of fish. Thank you so much for being our guide.”
“Well I must admit I had a good time too. I was scared at first but in a weird kind of way those fish have a calming affect on you. It’s so peaceful looking. And of course there were no sharks.”
The three of them laughed.
“Yes it’s beautiful looking although looks can deceive. Although this is the perfect area for beginners as there are quiet fish, the ocean can be dangerous. But I’m glad to show the beautiful and peaceful side of it.”
Annabelle and Simone nodded. They still had smiles on their faces from the beautiful experience they had. They knew they had seen the beautiful side of the ocean, the safe side.
“Let me take your gear and you two can relax and grab something to eat and get a drink from the cool box over there.”
Najib began taking their stuff from them to relive them of the burden.
Annabelle and Simone grabbed something to eat and drink and relaxed on the bench. Then the captain of the boat drove them back and Najib put everything away before taking something out of the cool box for himself.
“Sooo did you like it? Honestly”, Annabelle asked her lover.
“Yes I really did. I’m glad I did it. I’m glad you wanted this and that we did this together. It’s going to be one of my most beautiful memories.”
“Yeah for me too. I mean I really think this brought us closer together.”
“Yes I agree”, Simone said before placing a soft kiss on Annabelle’s lips.
The sound of Najib coming to sit on the bench made her pull away.
“You can take your wetsuit off when we are on land. It’s easier there then here with the waves.”
Annabelle and Simone nodded again. They continued their eating and drinking and let the sound of the ocean relax them. Today had been a perfect day: beautiful experience for a beautiful memory.
After changing into their own clothing and thanking Najib again for being their guide, Simone and Annabelle went back to their hotel.
All they way back to the hotel, Annabelle couldn’t stop smiling and talking about it. It was everything she had expected more.
At their hotel room, Simone opened the door for them. The first thing she did after stepping inside was walk to the bathroom.
“I’m going to take a shower first”, she shouted at Annabelle.
Annabelle grabbed their stuff and put their bikinis and towels out to dry. She heard Simone going into the shower.
After she was done she slowly began to undress herself. Once naked she stepped in the shower behind her lover. Wrapping her arms around her waist she hugged Simone to her, smelling the scent of her. How she loved to do that.
Simone sighed and pressed herself into Annabelle, loving the feel or her arms wrapped around her like a warm cocoon.
Annabelle turned Simone around, wanting to see Simone’s beautiful face.
”Do you know how much I love you? You went diving even if it terrified you. But you did it because it was my dream. And it makes me love you even more”.
Annabelle put a hand behind Simone’s neck and pulled her down for a kiss. The kiss was full of love to show Simone how much she loved her. The kiss was followed by a second kiss, this time deeper. Annabelle pulled back when she needed air.
She searched for the soap, finding it she grabbed it and began to wash her lover’s body and continued kissing her.
They washed each other tenderly. They needed the contact as emotions were high. They whispered words of love into each other’s ears followed by kissing the ear and kissing the neck.
It was lovemaking in an emotional way. They let each other know they loved and cherished each other by little caresses.
They stepped out of the shower and each grabbed a towel and began to dry each other off while gazing into each other’s eyes lovingly and kissing.
“I’m going to take you out for a nice meal whatever you want. I’m going to make you the happiest woman on earth, because that’s what you make me…happy.”
“I’m already the happiest woman. Ever day I spend with you. And I hope we spend the rest of our lives together”, Simone replied with tears in her eyes.
She never thought that Annabelle could be so loving not after they first met.
“We will. I love you, baby.”
“I love you too sweetheart.”
They slowly got dressed. It took a long time because of their many kisses. Hand in hand, they walked out of the door, making a perfect ending after a perfect day.

Dolphins with their curious nature began to swim to them, wanting to know who they were ,maybe some new playmates.
They slowly began to play with them, liking the attention they got from the humans.
Simone had to laugh at them, they were cute and totally not scary at all.
After playing awhile, they went away, going further on their journey.
They swam back to the boat, but before climbing on board, Simone signalled she wanted a picture taken of Annabelle and her.
Najib grabbed the camera and took a picture of them together. He handed the camera back and he let Simone climb on board first, helping her.
Once she was on board he helped Annabelle up and he followed after her.
“So did you like it?”, he asked them.
“I had a great time. I never thought there were so many different kind of fish. Thank you so much for being our guide.”
“Well I must admit I had a good time too. I was scared at first but in a weird kind of way those fish have a calming affect on you. It’s so peaceful looking. And of course there were no sharks.”
The three of them laughed.
“Yes it’s beautiful looking although looks can deceive. Although this is the perfect area for beginners as there are quiet fish, the ocean can be dangerous. But I’m glad to show the beautiful and peaceful side of it.”
Annabelle and Simone nodded. They still had smiles on their faces from the beautiful experience they had. They knew they had seen the beautiful side of the ocean, the safe side.
“Let me take your gear and you two can relax and grab something to eat and get a drink from the cool box over there.”
Najib began taking their stuff from them to relive them of the burden.
Annabelle and Simone grabbed something to eat and drink and relaxed on the bench. Then the captain of the boat drove them back and Najib put everything away before taking something out of the cool box for himself.
“Sooo did you like it? Honestly”, Annabelle asked her lover.
“Yes I really did. I’m glad I did it. I’m glad you wanted this and that we did this together. It’s going to be one of my most beautiful memories.”
“Yeah for me too. I mean I really think this brought us closer together.”
“Yes I agree”, Simone said before placing a soft kiss on Annabelle’s lips.
The sound of Najib coming to sit on the bench made her pull away.
“You can take your wetsuit off when we are on land. It’s easier there then here with the waves.”
Annabelle and Simone nodded again. They continued their eating and drinking and let the sound of the ocean relax them. Today had been a perfect day: beautiful experience for a beautiful memory.
After changing into their own clothing and thanking Najib again for being their guide, Simone and Annabelle went back to their hotel.
All they way back to the hotel, Annabelle couldn’t stop smiling and talking about it. It was everything she had expected more.
At their hotel room, Simone opened the door for them. The first thing she did after stepping inside was walk to the bathroom.
“I’m going to take a shower first”, she shouted at Annabelle.
Annabelle grabbed their stuff and put their bikinis and towels out to dry. She heard Simone going into the shower.
After she was done she slowly began to undress herself. Once naked she stepped in the shower behind her lover. Wrapping her arms around her waist she hugged Simone to her, smelling the scent of her. How she loved to do that.
Simone sighed and pressed herself into Annabelle, loving the feel or her arms wrapped around her like a warm cocoon.
Annabelle turned Simone around, wanting to see Simone’s beautiful face.
”Do you know how much I love you? You went diving even if it terrified you. But you did it because it was my dream. And it makes me love you even more”.
Annabelle put a hand behind Simone’s neck and pulled her down for a kiss. The kiss was full of love to show Simone how much she loved her. The kiss was followed by a second kiss, this time deeper. Annabelle pulled back when she needed air.
She searched for the soap, finding it she grabbed it and began to wash her lover’s body and continued kissing her.
They washed each other tenderly. They needed the contact as emotions were high. They whispered words of love into each other’s ears followed by kissing the ear and kissing the neck.
It was lovemaking in an emotional way. They let each other know they loved and cherished each other by little caresses.
They stepped out of the shower and each grabbed a towel and began to dry each other off while gazing into each other’s eyes lovingly and kissing.
“I’m going to take you out for a nice meal whatever you want. I’m going to make you the happiest woman on earth, because that’s what you make me…happy.”
“I’m already the happiest woman. Ever day I spend with you. And I hope we spend the rest of our lives together”, Simone replied with tears in her eyes.
She never thought that Annabelle could be so loving not after they first met.
“We will. I love you, baby.”
“I love you too sweetheart.”
They slowly got dressed. It took a long time because of their many kisses. Hand in hand, they walked out of the door, making a perfect ending after a perfect day.
