Wow. School has been so busy and overwhelming. Let me start off by saying that I updated this last weekend all about my NICU experience and when I was messing around with the music I was listening to feature, I x'd out the wrong box. School sure is moving fast, but hey-I'm not really complaining:) The highlight of my week was going to clinicals on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday I was in postpartum so I knew I most likely wouldn't be seeing any births. It was a good day though because my patient had a baby the previous day and he was in the room the whole day! And we're off! Spring semester of junior year has officially started! Week 1 is over and it was super. Why super you may ask? Super because it was only a 4 day week, 1 of those days was an orientation downtown for 3 hours, another was a 3 hour clinical day that was just a "meet your instructor, tour the unit" kinda deal. Today was a good day. Because I have to get up for work in like 5 hours..it'll just be a quick little update. Felt like shit yesterday so when I got home from work, I lubed myself up with Vicks and took some medicine then crashed. It's the people here that make it so wonderful.....the highlight of my week was definitely NYE! I had a party at my apt in chitown and had soooo soooo sooo much fun! This weekend was nothing short of AMAZING. Friday was the Ashlee Simpson concert and I don't care how much anyone makes fun of me...it was FuCkIn awesome.
