The finale: whatever. I guess when it comes to Moffat Who I'll just have to enjoy the episodes not written by him and ignore the rest as ridiculous nonsense caused by irresponsible time-travelling that will all be non-canonical once another showrunner takes over.

I can't even figure out what bits of MoffWho are canonical anymore, the whole narrative is now kind of like a shitty VHS tape that's had random bits taped-over so many times that it's a hot mess of random TV shows and commercials from the '80s and half of an epic sci-fi movie that cuts off just before the denouement mashed up with a bad home video of somebody's wedding.

AHAHAHA. That is such a good description of what it's like. Moff Era is what they show little Time Lords in their first year at the Academy: This is what happens when you break the Laws of Time. Don't do it.
