I'm coming to the conclusion that if March if Mother Nature's PMS month, April is her teenage years: always moody, and generally rainy with a few intensely sunny days.
I think of Taipei 天氣 as a petulant child right now - "Hot! Cold! Hot! Rainy! Humid! Breezy! Sunny! Cloudy! Hot! Cold! ..." It can't make up its damn mind.
I would've much preferred a balcony, howevah, if I had held out for one, I think I'd STILL be looking for apartments. ;)
Could be because we have nice weather all of, oh, 2 months maybe :oP. Then you've got summer where the windows and doors are perpetually open because it is SO hot!
Or there's a typhoon.
When I first arrived I was being cautious and closing the windows and doors every morning when I went to work. And then noticed mushrooms growing in my potted plants :oP. Considering how much cooler Aomori is with Eastern Japan (more of the latitude where you are), I can only IMAGINE what sort of August you're in for :oP. But typhoons can be fun.
Ooooh, lovely. It's been raining all weekend here as well, I had a delightful time getting rained on walking to Hyperion and lounging around having coffee. Downtown in the rain at night always puts me in a noir kind of mood, I should watch some Bogart or something. Sadly, it appears to be clearing up, so it's just foggy and ungodly humid at the moment.
