; u ; i'm happy you liked it! i think writing baekhyun in this fic was quite hard, because i wanted to make him layered and insightful, in addition to all that baekhyun fun that was much easier to write haha.

i was on the edge about suho myself, because i didn't want luhan to be left alone, i wanted him to find happiness even if it wasn't with baekhyun, and i didn't want to leave luhan sort of paralyzed after baekhyun's disappearance (because that would have undermined baekhyun's entire purpose). and i definitely agree with what you say about luhan still sort of seeing baekhyun! he doesn't literally see him, but as i was writing this, i think he could feel him somehow, when he was talking to that painting ;u; and baekhyun certainly did leave a big impression on luhan and his life, so even when he's gone, everything he did to luhan and all those things he caused him to feel will never fade away.
