This fic was just so heartbreaking for me in a hundred and one ways ;____; my heart will always go for pushing-people-away Baekhyun and people's man Chanyeol they're such a precious pair and i couldnt help but sob at some scenes TT___TT plus the sekai oh god i thought my heart wasnt gonna break into tiny pieces anymore but no you just had to put that sekai near the end i'm 💔 this was such a wonderful fic !!!thank you for writing it

Truthfully, I did not expected to like this fic much as I am not a fan of war aus! But boy I was wrong! This story got me hooked in its plot and I found myself hanging to every word. I cannot describe how beautiful the author has written this. It's a masterpiece! I have savored each bittersweet scenes and I'm just relieved that both of them made out alive. Sad though because I was rooting for Jongin too. :(

Let me just reiterate how I love that the author did not sugarcoat anything at all. It tugs the readers to reality and what's really hapening around.

I have nothing but high respect for you author-nim! Thank you for writing this story. I'm sure it stirred a lot of people's hearts especially if they have a loved one who is at the service of their country.

I don't believe in sugarcoating the reality of life, especially war is something that's very real and would tear everything apart ^^;; I think the mass media has toned down a lot on their reporting, and the people's suffering as a result of war is rarely the centerpiece of these reports, but are oftentimes the most important part of these events.

I read this beautiful piece of art a few days ago, before my finals, and I was heart broken through the whole story but somehow, the ending managed to pull my heart together and glue everything again <3
