I like the art style in the preview, but the marker colouring looks kinda sloppy in places, and the text bubbles look really out of place with the artwork (digital vs hand-drawn/coloured). I think I'd rather just read the original novel... And as I keep looking at the comic, wow, there's so much text there you really might as well read the original!! I feel like I'm reading the bubbles for so long, I don't even notice the artwork except as an afterthought.
I do like to see visuals with text, but, especially for classic novels like Austen's, or L M Montgomery's, I'd rather see illustrations in the text (and oh, it'd be sooo cool to illustrate a project like that!!) than read a comic book adaptation. I like those books because of how they're written, not just because of the characters or what happens... or something like that.
