Oooh Howl, always a charmer :D (I'm a little disappointed that Ichigo Takano's drawings don't look more like her usual style, just because it'd be fun to see, but it's still good.) Do you know what the occasion is for artists to be drawing him? Don't tell me it's been 10 years since that movie came out or something... (oh dear, it's actually been 11!!!)

I don't know actually, I was hoping maybe you'd tell me :)

All I could gather from the two tweets was that they both prefer blond Howl... Maybe there was a debate among Japanese twitter?

Maybe the movie's showing on a public TV channel in Japan or something .(I think that happens with Ghibli movies every so often?) I searched twitter for ハウル (Howl) and the live results added 99 new tweets within a couple minutes

Great, thanks for the info. Now I know how Howl is written in Katakana :) Now I remember seeing another tweet with 2 panels from the anime 1 of blond Howl and the other black haired Howl. I didn't think much of it at that time.
