Why do they always have to do this... however, I didn't see it go anywhere much in the 3 volumes I worked on, so hopefully that particular plot thread just dies out. (or if it doesn't, working on the series burned me out enough that I'll probably never go back to find out.) Glad you enjoy the cuteness though!

You're so right about Handa-kun too!! It was different than I expected going in to the series, definitely different from the kind of series Barakamon is. It now has a place on my list of series I've cried over while lettering (v3 and one bit of v2), but knowing what's to come later once he gets to the island makes it hopeful :) And it makes me like Sensei that much more!

I'm sorry you got burnt out working on the series :( The little girl is too cute. The poor father/teacher is probably still grieving.
Kawafuji, it's all your fault!!! The funniest is the glass guy and the model. Handa without knowing had a few groupies :) Handa's father was right to send him there. Oh boy, I haven't read v2 yet!

It's alright :) I've had enough space now that I can be happy for the people who do enjoy the series now that it's out in English!

Do the digital editions of Handa-kun include the little comic/illustration of the kids from the island (originally under the jacket of the jp book)? I think they are my favourite part :D Kawafuji is a terrible terrible friend, hahaha. I'll never feel bad for him again in Barakamon. My fav Handa-groupie shows up in v2!

The ones that says "Meanwhile, in Barakamon, Miwa and Tama were 8", right? It doesn't include the back cover :(
I'm tempted to get V2 now :)

btw, does Kawafuji get lots of abused in Barakamon?
I'm so glad that 2 Hakusensha licensed here. First, Yen licensed "Sakura no Himegoto" and now Shojo Beat licensed "Ojou-sama no Untenshu" :) Yes!
