i'm unable to get into this season. maybe because I watch with very low volume while feeding the baby. but the dancers are just not making me case - and I think they are doing too many prop-supported, gimmicky numbers.

I agree on the gimmicks--the blackbird number didn't need the cage, and last week's cane number was just annoying.

With a few exceptions (like Jacob) I think the dancers from last season were much more likable, all around ( ... )

I don't know, I've found Karen very versatile so far--to be able to do hip hop like she did a couple of weeks ago was impressive. They also noted in her childhood segment that she spent years in the Martha Graham dance school, that's got to help.

I would have liked to have seen more of Channing, but her solo was physically weak, to the point where I worried about her a bit.

I've had the same reaction to Legacy--at the very first it was OMG he's great, then quickly it was OMG he's overhyped and annoying, but now he's growing on me.
