I felt a bit bad for the band, too, because it was finally their chance to cut loose. They were playing at the beginning of the event, but of course nobody's going to get up and dance then, just like people aren't going to buy food as soon as they arrive. It would make more sense to have the open floor in the middle of the event, so that people could get up and move around after sitting for a while, and then be content to sit some more. I got pretty restless halfway through and could have used a dance break.

of course, we just had a hafla where we played (i play the riq) in the intermission and nobody actually got up to dance because they were shopping. so, who knows. maybe there need to be some dancer plants!

I loved seeing you guys - and others...but I wish the vendors were someone where we could SEE! I had to keep getting someone to watch my table so I could sneak in. The food/bar situation made me sad as well.

However, I just watched your clip and you kicked ass! :-)
