Fighting off a nasty flu. Like five hours after the tourney ended, it hit me like a freight train. Still, mustering the strength to post this. WTG, Matt! :)

I've played Collins Boggle since around mid-2007, and didn't pick up competitive Scrabble until September of 2009. I had a ridiculously lucky streak in Charlotte, didn't have to know a ton of Collins to win, and the next Collins tournament I play will see that rating go down. But hell, I'll just admit I'm overrated and enjoy the top 10 ranking while it lasts.
I think you need 50 games and to be active in the last 2 years to appear on the rankings. I don't know if that has any implications regarding "officialness" of the rating or regarding rating calculation.
Regardless, congrats to Matt. And I can't say I'm unhappy about 1951.
I may have been responsible (if so apologies all around). I had a cold coming into the tournament, but it never got that bad until yesterday. Feeling much better this morning.
Purell might not be a bad investment for any large scale tourney, especially in the winter.

So that's, what, 6 or 7 casualties of the EC? Haha.
Yeah, next tourney I run, one thing to add to the checklist is Purell. :)
