Ugh, I had something norovirusish a week or two ago. No fun, but at least it goes away. And happy to hear the rest of your health is good enough to allow for skiing!

I think what happens around here is that you call the jury office in the morning and tell them that you're sick and they'll have you come in some other time. It is probably similar in Boston?
Think so; they may still make you wobble in and stand in front of the judge and look sad if they're feeling pissy, but nobody wants a sick juror in a courtroom for hours-on-end.
Luckily, the 24h bug seems to have lasted 24h. Unluckily, it seems I was a year early for jury duty. I didn't even know they sent notices that far in advance!
