I can't believe it's been nearly three months since my last visit to LJ, let alone, my last post. I am happy to announce, though, that I have finally transitioned out of my previous, much hated, not of my choosing, position (at work); back into a less stressful, less time consuming, less mind altering, position on the operations staff in my region ( Read more... )

OMG *GLOMP* I was worried you'd vanished for good and it was sad, sad, sad! And hurrah for AmeriCAN'T fouling up their debut match, lol. This is why I'm rooting for a team that might actually have a chance of winning, lol.

Hey Linky-linky! You should know I would not totally abandon you. And you and I'll have some business again soon. It's just been a little hectic, OK, a lot hectic.

Oh, not rooting for the home team? Who then? I haven't quite thrown in with any one team, I'm just picking faves as I watch. Ghana did great today, though, so I'm happy for them. Gotta cheer the underdogs!

Haha, not at all, though they were surprisingly decent in today's match against (drumrolls for her team) ITALY! Though the Italians are probably hurting, being as the only goal the Americans had during the match was scored by a miskick from the Italian defense. Sucks a lot. Tie game, too. But the ref -- oh shit, I wanted to punch this guy in the face; he was throwing red and yellow cards around like it was his job. Which technically it is, but there's a line. *huff huff* [/rant]

Anyway, rooting for Italy, though I'd like England to do well ^^ The rest of the teams, I kinda just pick on a pivot, depending on who's playing, lol.
