Great fun. Roger Moore was my favourite Bond for the humour. Lewis Collins was the best Bond we never had. TPTB must have been mad

Lewis Collins would have made a great Bond, he had the look and the dry humour. Sean Connery will always be MY Bond, but I think Gareth would be great too.

I remember when Lewis Collins was on the short list for the next Bond.

He truly would have been a fabulous choice, but I suppose, outside of the Professionals fandom, he was not well-known enough to be a drawcard for the role. Sigh, now I feel sad about it again after all these years.

Sadly there probably won't be any more because I'm not really confident about writing Bond's world and spy-type scenarios. I wouldn't know what to do. Still, I won't say never, because if the right idea came along, who knows?
