Very cute. I was sad that they didn't realize the crack was sentient. Loved the end, too.

They couldn't know, just though it was a side-effect of the tech, but at least the little crack is okay, back with the rest of the Rift and probably plotting its next escape ;)

Everybody wants to be with pretty Ianto, even a sentient rift fragment. How sad it must be to have lost him

It is, but it can still observe him now it's returned to the main Rift, just not as closely. It will have to admire him from afar until he can find another way of separating from the main Rift ;)

I've long thought that the Rift has a thing for Ianto, so it's only natural fir a stray Rift fragment to follow him around like a lost puppy ;)
