Poor Jack indeed, waving his leaves around and shuffling along on his roots. Being a plant isn't fun.

Thank you!

He'll get his new and bigger fridge, I think!

Ianto would never leave Jack alone in the dark, he'll always be there to hold his hand, or leaf, or other appendage depending on what form he happens to be in ;)

Thank you!

Loved this fic. For once Jack wasn't responsible for his terrible predicament, but luckily he had Ianto there to help him through until they could fix him. Owen will have learned a very valuable lesson, because next time they might not have been so lucky.

It won't happen again, Owen's getting a bigger fridge, Jack already signed off on the requisition. He never wants to be a helpless plant again. ;)

Thank you!

LOL poor Jack. He just wanted a late night snack!

And just a nitpicking: humans breathe oxygen gas (O2) and exhale carbon dioxide (CO2), while plants incorporate CO2 and let O2 out - this is one of the reasons why deforestation and sea pollution is bad: plants and kelp generate the oxygen we need to breathe.

So, by removing the CO2 from the air (which should be less than 1% anyway), Owen doesn't make it harmful for Ianto to stay with Jack without a breather.

Snacking can be bad ;)

Yeah, I know that, it was the fact that Ianto breathed CO2 OUT that made Owen insist on the breather, so he wouldn't be breathing onto Jack what the plant part of Jack needed to survive. Even a tiny amount of CO2 might have kept the plant DNA spreading instead of being eradicated. Maybe I didn't make that clear enough. Sorry =(

Thank you!
