Home at last! Actually got home half an hour ago, but I had to do stuff before firing up my computer and sitting down ( Read more... )

It's good to hear your appointment went as smoothly as possible, and that you could do some nice shopping afterwards.

I bought some peaches today and sadly they tastet awfully. I wish you more luck with your fruit.

Hopefully you can rest enough, and your pain eases quickly.

I have my fingers crossed for good results next week.

*hugs*

Thank you *hugs*

Peaches can be a problem. The last lot I got didn't ripen, the just went mouldy and I had to throw them out. The last strawberries were a bit tasteless too, but I got locally grown ones this time which should prove nicer. I already know the cherries are lovely, one got a bit squashed so I ate it. Rhubarb is never a disappointment, I want to freeze some more for later.

It's good to be sitting down. I don't want to move but I'll have to. There are things I need to do.

Sounds like great reward for the uncomfortable doctor's visit. I know what you mean about it not taking much to get things started. *hugs*

It was, I think I earned it. I like my new pretties =)

Any physical exercise results in a lot of muscle and joint pains and I can't take painkillers because of my stomach problems. Good thing I have a fairly high pain tolerance. So, I sit here with my legs and feet throbbing. On the bright side, my back doesn't hurt this time, so there's that. I kind of wish I could take my legs off until they stopped hurting.

*hugs back*

I'm like that, too, which is good since my back and wrists hurts pretty much all the time. Thankfully, I can (and do) take anti inflammatories when it gets too bad, but I hate doing it because they are so hard on my body.

Enjoy your pretties.

Bodies are annoying, especially if they don't work right.

I am enjoying them, I do love crystals =D

It seemed that you were rewarded by the end of the doctor's visit, new crystals seem to be an excellent treat after a not-so nice visit.
Slob around, eat ice creams and nice fruits (I miss summer soooo much, especially because we are under a spell of cold weather but were promised our Indian summer next week YAY!!!!)
Rest so all those uncomfortable aches and pains wear out soon.
Take care!
Hugs!!!

I'm trying to rest, but I hurt =(

It's supposed to be summer here, but mostly it's cold and wet with very little sun. At least today was dry and not as cold, so having to go out wasn't as bad as it could have been.

The crystals were a very unexpected treat, but a good reward for being brave. I deserved them!

*hugs back*

Glad to hear that everything went reasonably smoothly and that karma decided to reward you. Strawberries and cherries and nectarines yummy! That's about the only thing I don't like about winter, the lack of summer fruit.

Thank you!

I tend to subsist on stewed plums throughout winter, with occasional imported fruit, and pears. I love than I can get such a good selection of fruit in summer though. Raspberries and blueberries are being bought today. Plus more rhubarb, I'm freezing what I cooked this morning =)

I'm glad the test wasn't terrible and that it's over with for you.

Nothing too fancy - Black Tourmaline, Selenite, Bloodstone, Blue Tiger's Eye, Carnelian, Moonstone, Green Aventurine, Rainbow Hematite, a Chevron Amethyst egg (mum would've loved that), and the Champagne Aura Quarts point I mentioned. they had some bigger pieces, I might get something like that the next time I go in. I liked the woman in charge, she knows her crystals, but like me, she's still learning.

They sound pretty and useful. :-) it's so awesome youv got a shop close with crystals and someone that knows about them as well. I don't think anyone can ever know everything about crystals. Not with how much they are still learning, and all the new things showing up.

That's very true, new crystals keep being discovered, and new attributes to older ones. we grow with our crystals =)
