I've been making Christmas cards....

As some of you already know, I decided to make my Christmas cards this year - nothing too elaborate, just die-cut shapes stuck on cards with a few embellishments, but I'm quite pleased with the results.

Here's what I've made so far....

Penguins it is!

I'm so completely smitten with these little penguins, I think I've bought enough for several years, lol! I went looking for penguins in the craft section of ebay and most of the ones I saw didn't look very good, some even looked like they had carrots for beaks - which is fine for a snowman, but not so good for a penguin, it just looks weird. Then I found these and they were just perfect, by far the best I'd seen, they're so cute! I'm hoping to make another batch of penguin cards before Christmas.

Thank you! I have enjoyed making them, I'm going to make some more because I don't know if I have enough yet for all my friends and family. It's a lot of fun, I've always liked making things.

you have given me want to do something for Christmas.
So I thought why not a Christmas wreath?
So I just spent the afternoon in my garden to go pick the foliage.

I'd very much like one of the flowering trees, please. Any one from the 3rd row (Series C).

By the way, I've just posted your card. Yep, I'm early this year, but I wanted to avoid the post office insanity.

A Flowering Tree from Row C it is!

I'm hoping to get my overseas cards sent next week for the same reason. With the British postal service the way it is, I never know when things will reach their destinations, so posting early gives them a better chance of arriving on time. instead of getting stuck in the Christmas backlog!
