Help! Miracle Day question...

I am in need of assistance from my lovely friends. Did any of you watch Miracle Day? I didn't and never intend to, but I need to know something for a fic I'm writing, so:

Can anyone tell me what length of time the events of Miracle Day are supposed to cover?

Somewhere around 4-6 months-ish...it's not too clear in the series.

Hmmm, I might have to shorten that a bit them, I don't think that length of time would be workable for my puropses.

Hmmm. I was hoping to stick to canon fact, but 6 months plus is too long, I think for my purposes the longest I can stretch things out will be 5 months. Guess I'll have to claim a degree of artistic licence ;)

over 6 months...the show actuully did that "6 months later" bit (which annoys the H out of me). Since there was quite of bit of time spent before that (I think about a month's worth of time?!?) I think 7 months would be a good # to settle on.

Meh! Doesn't work for my requirements, and I don't want to fling in any time travelling on Jack's part. I can't stretch events in my story more that maybe 5 months so I'll have to be inaccurate. Bummer. I'm not going to be using MD as such anyway, it'll just get a few passing mentions since I don't actually really know or care what happened. I know enough from skimming synopses when it aired to get the gist of events, that's all I need. I just want to try to earn my post-canon badge ;)
