Been watching for this since you mentioned writing it. I think you nailed everyone perfectly. Especially the Librarian. So hard to get ook to mean what you want it to mean.

YAY! Thank you! I'm still not sure about all of Vimes' dialogue, but the Oooks seemed to work for the Librarian reasonably well. The writing was somewhat rushed, but that was true for everything during Contest Week.

I think Vimes works out well because he never does make much sense when he's been drinking, so it totally fits into the mood you've got going there.
