Probably because every stray item gets shoved in there and forgotten about. Mine is full of carpark tickets.

I don't know about writing any more, this has been sitting around waiting to be posted for well over a year, maybe close to two years, so whatever I was thinking about back then is long gone. I was reminded about it because of all the bizarre things I'm turning up in mum's cupboards. She was a dreadful hoarder!

Lol! You would only find that many items in the Torchwood SUV. Maybe it is connected to the rift? I don't envy Ianto having to clean it out. I admin, I felt a bit squidgy thinking about reaching in and pulling some of that stuff out. Must be the most interesting glove compartment on earth!

I tried not to put anything TOO disgusting in there, but I suspect the Rift has a very odd sense of humour indeed and likes playing games with Ianto. Makes me wonder if Torchwood has an 'oddments' drawer in the Hub where they put anything that doesn't have a particular place. I bet the Rift dumps strange things in there too, anything it doesn't know what to do with, lol!

This was great! I can totally picture this happening to Ianto. And I love that Jack "doesn't like" spiders after all the terrors he's seen. Spiders are effing creepy! Hate them! Great job!

I'm not a fan of spiders either, which is why I've given Jack arachnophobia in several fics. Naturally, Ianto is fearless, because someone needs to be able to rescue Jack from creepy crawlies ;)

Poor Ianto, all the jobs no one else can be bothered to do get left for him. He's very stoical about it though, bless him, just gets on with it while thinking murderous thoughts about the people who can't do anything without making a mess!
