Rabbit News

Things haven't gone quite to plan for Misty the rabbit. He was fine yesterday morning, but later on he was a bit listless and uninterested in food - not unheard of, but he's usually full of bounce again again a few hours later. He was bouncier this morning, though still not eating, but I took him to the vet anyway to see if he was well enough for ( Read more... )

Thank you from both of us. He's in good hands, George is an excellent and very caring vet, but it's still worrying.

I hope Misty is home again with you very soon. Ida is a young to middle-aged kitty and she has hardly any teeth. But like Misty, she's very healthy otherwise.

Thank you, I hope Misty is home soon too, I nearly went to feed him a little while ago =0

Usually he's back home within a day, I don't like him being away overnight, it's too weird!

I hope Misty is feeling well enough in the morning for his surgery so he can get back home to you soon.

I know what you mean about going to feed him when he isn't there. We have a cocker spaniel that my hubby got from his grandmother to keep him company in his truck when he's out on the road, also named Misty btw, and when I let the others out into the kennel or go to feed them, I always look around for her before realizing she gone again.

*hugs and well wishes to you both*

Thank you. It's just so weird when a pet isn't there. He's never had to stay overnight before. I hope he won't miss me too much. Of course, when he does get home, he will probably want nothing to do with me, he never likes going to the vet.

Thank you, I hope that proves true! He's a big, strong rabbit and he's been eating well until yesterday, so hopefully everything will go well.
