I butting in on anothers post, but jsks is so right! They are adorable and these elephants are just perfect in the Santa outfits. I would love to see the others you listed below if you stitch them! These are my favorite cross-stiches you've done, I think, but they are all good. :D

Don't know if I'll stitch the other four again just yet - I'd have to get some more fabric. I already had the fabric cut out for the ones here, so all I had to do was stitch.

They are good though, just fiddly because they're so small. Which one is your favourite?

Those are fantastic! I have a friend who loves elephants - I'd so love to find her something like that for Christmas.

If you'd like, I'll stitch you one for her and send it to you. They don't take long to stitch as they're so tiny. Just pick one. There are also Elephant Santa on ice skates, one putting baubles on a Christmas tree, one halfway out of a chimney, and one behind a table with a roast turkey on it.

Thanks! It's weird, but they somehow look right as Santas. It makes me wonder what else would work. I've seen a cute Meerkat in a Santa hat, and teddy Santas. I'd love to stitch a cow in a Santa hat, because I have a friend who's completely nuts asbout cows, but I haven't found one yet.

Yeah, I know, I completely agree! I bet there are santa!cow patterns to be found somewhere, too. ^_~ And I'm sure they'd work just as well! :D

If I can't find one, I'll just have to stitch one of the cow designs I've got and stick a santa hat on it!
