We're back to not having heating, still waiting to get the fire checked for safety, but here I am, still bringing you your regularly scheduled Fic of the Week post!

This week's fic is another short one, from back in June 2008. Love Is In The Air is a four-part fic by the wonderful bassair.

You're welcome! I still have a lot of your stories to read, but I've never been disappointed and I am very much in the mood for something cracky! Now if life will only give me a break so I can READ!

This means a lot to me to hear. I shudder a little at my writing from this long ago (I was only fifteen!) but it means a lot to me to know that you've not been disappointed by my old writing, especially since I think I'm better at it now!

I think we all improve with practice and experience. It's the ideas that draw me in more than anything else. If an idea is good and put across well, that's the most crucial part of writing. Everything else comes from practice, but being able to convey an interesting, entertaining or amusing idea is where the real talent lies. That can't be faked, people either have it or they don't.
