I don't know how much longer the warmer weather will last (it's still cold indoors) but I'm trying to take advantage of it by getting some laundry done.
The drabble is probably the only thing I'll ever write for Firefly, simply because the speech patterns, slang terns and Japanese swearwords are so hard to emulate. I love the show and the way the characters talk, but actually writing it? Seriously hard!
It's nowhere near that hot here, but it's warmer this week than it has been, maybe low seventies. It means that I'm getting some laundry done and dry, which is a big deal as hanging things on the washing line is the only way to dry them when I don't have the fire lit. It's cloudier today, but I'm hoping this last load will dry and air.
I'm a sucker for good Cajun music, especially with lots of accordian. It's good for exercise because I sit here on my bed typing away on my laptop and bouncing to the music. There's over an hour of music on each CD, but I can only bounce for half of that, then I'm too tired. Maybe I'll work my way up to the full hour, lol!

We're having warm weather too--warmer than it's been most of the summer, actually. All the kids are going back to school and it's 95 degrees out!

They are three good positive things. We could do with a warm sunny day about now! Although it was actually quite sunny today, but bitterly cold!
