I love this little glimpse into Spike's thoughts and motives when he returns to Sunnydale.

His rationalizing that last time he had Dru with him, and he needs to rectify their love problems with a love potion 'that would have Dru grovelling' and begging his forgiveness is very on point for him at this stage.

I love this intro, it really sets the tone and is also very nice Spike voice, "It was cheerful and, supposedly, welcoming, but it lacked a certain honestly. Maybe that was why Spike smashed the car straight through it. Or maybe it was simply because he was drunk out of his mind and couldn’t see straight."

I do love Spike, he's a fun character with a lot of contrasting moods to explore. He certainly knows how to make an entrance!
