I know, it's so sad! A few days ago they were little six-year-olds and now they're 18! Almost adults!

Thank you!

Wow, so many changes have occurred! But the boys adapt and keep pursuing what they value--their friendship, and their avocation. I was so pleased when they were chosen to be King Arthur and Merlin! Clearly, all their hard work paid off. I would have loved to see that play. :)

Such a shame about Year 9. :(

Such a shame - I ran out of ideas for plays so I had to find a way around it, lol!

The King Arthur play is totally made up from bits of the legend because I needed something and Robin Hood didn't quite work, I didn't want either boy as the Sheriff of Nottingham, so they worked backstage instead.

They're growing up so fast.

Thank you!

I really admire how hard both Jack and Ianto are working towards their dreams when many other kids their age just want to hang out and have fun. I also like the way Ianto will always look for a bright side and find a way to do something constructive like work behind the scenes. I've helped with costumes and sets before and it's really a lot of fun! I bet Ianto was a perfect Merlin. He'd have the whole man of mystery thing without even trying! Wish I could have watched that play, I bet it was great :)

The King Arthur play is a complete fabrication, but they would have been great in it!

Ianto is smart enough to find ways around anything, and they encourage each other which keeps their passion for acting - and their determination to succeed - alive.

They love acting best of all, but working behind the scenes is great fun too.

Thank you!

It's so sad that being themselves and showing affection for each other got them bullied. Kids can be so cruel. Glad Jack was able to put a stop to it quickly though, but sad that they had to hide that side of their friendship. It was different at primary school because everyone was used to it - it was just how Jack and Ianto had always been.

It was very mature of Ianto to suggest they help out back stage, instead of sulking about not getting cast for the year 7 play. And their hard work and dedication paid off when they were given the main roles in year 8 :-)

I'm really enjoying this series :-)

It just felt right that Ianto would be the more mature of the two despite being younger than Jack - it's certainly true of the Torchwood two, lol!

I was sad at having to grow them up so fast, but it was necessary for the prompts I was using. I'd never have finished otherwise!

Kids are mean, I got bullied for less. I wanted Jack to stand up for them though. Ianto would have done it, but Jack beat him to it and really, there was no point in wasting his time after that on something Jack had already dealt with very effectively.

Thank you!
