Such a shame about Year 9. :(

The King Arthur play is totally made up from bits of the legend because I needed something and Robin Hood didn't quite work, I didn't want either boy as the Sheriff of Nottingham, so they worked backstage instead.
They're growing up so fast.

Ianto is smart enough to find ways around anything, and they encourage each other which keeps their passion for acting - and their determination to succeed - alive.
They love acting best of all, but working behind the scenes is great fun too.
Thank you!

It's so sad that being themselves and showing affection for each other got them bullied. Kids can be so cruel. Glad Jack was able to put a stop to it quickly though, but sad that they had to hide that side of their friendship. It was different at primary school because everyone was used to it - it was just how Jack and Ianto had always been.
It was very mature of Ianto to suggest they help out back stage, instead of sulking about not getting cast for the year 7 play. And their hard work and dedication paid off when they were given the main roles in year 8 :-)
I'm really enjoying this series :-)

I was sad at having to grow them up so fast, but it was necessary for the prompts I was using. I'd never have finished otherwise!
Kids are mean, I got bullied for less. I wanted Jack to stand up for them though. Ianto would have done it, but Jack beat him to it and really, there was no point in wasting his time after that on something Jack had already dealt with very effectively.
Thank you!
