To switch back on mine what I did was go to thing that is supposed to be a home page and in the top right there were a couple of icons, the one furthest right Gave me two options, send feed back (I told them the new design was awful) and most importantly the switch back to old style.
The speech bubble isn't visiblr to everyone, so just try clicking randomly on the blue bar towards the right side, maybe an inch or two in from the side - it IS there, just not visible in some cases but if you just keep clicking around the area you'll hit it eventually!
I had to hover about 1/2 inch below right side of the menu bar to get an outline of a square to show up. That's when I clicked and saw the menu with the change back option on it. Nice trick hiding it from users, LJ.
