After talking with criccieth recently, and making time to read fanfic again, I feel inspired to start reccing fics again. If the interest is there, I'm hoping to do a post towards the end of each month, gathering together some of the excellent older fics that aren't getting any promotion these days and bringing them to the attention of old and new fans ( Read more... )

Time and interest vary, but who knows, one might spark your interest here or there. It seems like forever since I've had time to devote to reading, and I don't know how long it'll last, but I'm enjoying it while it does and it seemed a good idea to share.

Yes, I'll definitely read them.

What would be really helpful is if you could rec things from other sites (that I don't go to) like ffnet and teaspoon. I see most of what's on LJ and AO3 - although commentary on any fic is enjoyable to read

At the moment I'm just reccing what I read of the older fics, although there may well be recs for Teaspoon and ff.net as I go along, and some that were on LJ are now only available on AO3 or dreamwidth. Most of this lot are from 2010 or earlier, so you might find some old favorites.

Of you want something Teaspoon, anything by Helmorg is worth reading.
