*grins* Thank you! I jotted down ideas in the prompt table, had this one down for Swan/Deception and then accidentally wrote it with the swan purple, which meant it fitted the wrong prompt, one I'd already written a fill for. I needed to change it so it fitted the prompt I'd originally intended to use it for so I added an extra leg. ;)

I think it's perfectly understandable that Owen missed the third leg. This is, after all, the entirely wrong kind of "bird" for its legs to be attracting his attention.

Oh, that's so true. If they were scantily clad women I'm dure he'd know exactly how many legs were on view and would probably have them graded.
