*Shakes fist at the universe* Stop picking on badly_knittedhurt.

Please try to take it easy. It's difficult when you've got so much on your shoulders but your body needs rest!

My body needs rest, but I still have things to do that HAVE to be done *shrugs* Just trying to do as much as possible left-handed, not easy!

Thank you, I hope the universe is cowed by your threats *hugs*

That's weird--LJ ate half my comment! I must have screwed up the HTML. So much for being intimidating. I can't even type. :-p

I just added that I had the same thing once and I never appreciated breathing as much until I couldn't take a breath without pain. So I do understand. :(

Did you get it from coughing?

Yep! I'd been coughing like crazy for days, big coughing fits and no problem. One little cough on Friday night and I crack a rib. Typical! I'm glad it didn't crack during a big coughing fit of course, that would have been so much worse. Still, every cough is painful, as is everything else, and shovelling coal is really NOT fun.

Thank you *hugs*

OMG my dear J!!! I cannot imagine how annoying that must be ....
don't you have any kind neighbour who could help with those chores?

sending a gentle hug!

No one at all, no one else has a coal fire so they have no experience in looking after one, it's a time-consuming job. Plus, most of the neighbours are elderly.

People survive cracked ribs all the time, I'm sure I will too. It's just really inconvenient, and all because I coughed at a bad moment.

Thank you *hugs*

*Hugs* I know how you feel those are painful. I got kneeded in the chest by my goddaughter around Christmas and I couldn't take a deep breath for two weeks.

Feel better.

Now if I can get my little finger to stop that I jammed 5 weeks ago.

*healing vibes* here have a naked owen

Heeee! Naked Owen!

Yeah, it's really painful. Mine's cracked at my right side, which is hampering everything.

Hope your finger's better soon too.

Thank you *hugs*

Naked Owen is always good but not better than a naked Janto.

My finger us not broken at least and not on my dominate hand, but the doctor said that the person who walked into me 2 weeks ago reinjured it. It wouldn't have been bad had my finger not been healing. Now I have the splint my finger for a while and ice it.

He works full time, lives miles away and has no transport, so that's not practial since the coal bin has to be filled every day. Most of the neighbours are elderly and those that aren't are at work. I've been managing for nearly a week, I'll cope. That's why we have two arms, isn't it? I'll just do things left-handed. Takes a bit longer and it's somewhat awkward but... *shrugs*

Thank you.
