Nasty selfish cold hearted Gwen . That made me hate her rather than just dislike her, Then poor lonely Ianto, Lucky he didn't know what was really happening to Jack, or his heart would have really shattered. Good job we know how it ended, and Jack came back for them all but especially Ianto. You really got my emotions going with this great story. Thank you

Yes, Ianto could handle Jack's absence because he could imagine a happy Jack. If he'd known the truth he might have crawled into the bunker and never come out.

Gwen was so completely selfish, not even considering her colleagues' feelings. And she said the rest of the team had forgotten how to be human! They had more compassion than she ever showed them. =(
