*hugs you tight* Yay, it's great and they look so good! It was sort of fun being out and about, except for carrying heavy shopping while limping! I bought a small second hand walking stick while I was out because limping gets so tiring. It helped keep me balanced while overloaded, and mum can always use a spare!

I'm sure my toe will be fine eventually, it's just really annoying because it makes so many things difficult. It's been hurting for a month already, so I just hope it will improve soon.

Hope life is treating you well *hugs*

Thankyou! *hugs tight* I really am so happy to finally have them, they're so pretty! I have two pairs - my everday pair and a pair of reading glasses. The reading glasses have purple frames and my main pair are metallic red, very bright and cheerful!

There are idiot drivers everywhere! And of course, in Britain, no one is ever prepared for bad weather, even though we get it to some degree every winter ( ... )

Oh the joys of a quiet-spoken man!!! Hugs to Nosy!

I don't want to rain on your parade, but it was about 75 degrees here today, and it's supposed to edge into the upper 70's, maybe even to 80 the coming week. I've had the house wide open the last two days, it's so nice to get rid of the winter blah in the house, plus I slept like a log last night!

Nighttime is the only time I wish had had a two story home or that I lived on the first floor. That way, I could leave a window open at night. But, since climbing stairs is a nightmare anymore, I'm stuck on the ground floor with closed windows!

As long as you're going to take it easy tomorrow, I'll be a happy worry wart. Luv ya, Me

Oh, to dispense with stairs! I hate them, they're not kind when my arthritis is acting up!

Got my comfy chair, my computer and crufts on TV - I'm set for the day! I'm only moving to get food and later on to clean out the fire! Nice, quiet, relaxing day ahead of me!

I'm not jealous of the heat - 70 is about right for me, 80 would be too much! If I get chilly, I'll just wrap something else around me!

Stop worring and relax! *hugs* Love you too!

I'm feeling very glam in my new glasses, they're lovely! Suffering the backlash of going out now - everything aches! Still, my toe is behaving reasonably well considering. Plus I plan to be sitting down most of today =)

Losing Gingernut was very sad so soon after Crumpet, but I'm sure she's happy with her sister now. I buried them side by side, the way they should be.

I did find myself checking out the guinea pigs in the petshop, but we're not having more until the work on the house is done. It wouldn't be fair on the pigs!

Well done for getting out and about and aquiring your glasses! :) I often spend quite a lot time without leaving the house and it's always stressful when I do go out - but yay you for overcoming! x

Thanks! It is especially tough going out when you haven't in a while. I've been battling agoraphobia for many years - for a long time I could barely leave my bedroom. Things are a lot better now, but there are still many weeks when I can't face going out. Stomach problems make things even more difficult as I'm often not well enough to go out so I can't make plans and often have to cancel appointments, but I try to go out every couple of weeks except in winter. Doesn't always work though, it's usually at least 3 weeks between trips out.

Aww sweetie *hugs*
I sort of know the feeling - I have M.E. so am super-tired all the time, and when I first got it and was really bad I don't think I left the house for over 6 months except for a few doctor's appointments. After that it all got a bit scary to go out, though I get out a couple of times a week now as long as I have someone with me! Sounds like you've made massive improvements from where you were so - yay! - and hopefully things will carry on getting better! x

Don't really know how much better I can expect things to get, considering it's been getting on for 30 years! My entire adult life has gone without much to show for it - I can't work, the stomach problems are a constant that the doctors don't seen interested in helping me with, and it's their fault I became agoraphobic in the first place, after they got me addicted to tranquilizers. Oh well. I make the best I can of things.

So sorry to hear you have M.E. that must be horrible, being so exhausted all the time. Hopefully things will keep improving for you, but after any length of time stuck at home it gets scary venturing out. You'll probably think I'm daft, but I rely on my crystals to help me deal with the panic attacks and agoraphobia. They're the only things that really do anything, and there's no side effects. I refuse to take tranquilizers again - I've been addicted twice, both times I was told they weren't addictive and I believed the doctors. Both times they were wrong. *shrugs*
