One thing the TARDIS would never be short of was storage space. When the Doctor said it was bigger on the inside, he didn’t mean just a few extra yards here and there, or a couple more rooms beyond the one housing the control console.
The TARDIS was immense, with more rooms than the Doctor could remember. There was even a swimming pool and a garden. Unfortunately, with all that space available, the Doctor, over the course of several regenerations, had become a bit of a pack rat.
He had everything he could possibly need but could never find anything.
