A/N: Double drabble.
Fluffs were quite probably the calmest, most laidback and tolerant creatures in the entire universe. They soothed the bad moods of their human friends while remaining unruffled themselves, bringing peace and tranquillity to any environment. It was as if they could absorb stress and other negative emotions like friendly, furry sponges, making all the tension in a room dissipate just by slithering in and submitting to being petted.
Until this moment, Ianto would have bet his life on the empathic aliens being incapable of losing their tempers. Actually, he would have said they didn’t even have tempers to lose. Never in his life had been happier to be wrong about something.
He and the rest of the team were in big trouble, captured and disarmed by the latest band of invading aliens, hairy yeti-like creatures who smelled like wet dogs that had been rolling in raw sewage. Maybe that was why they had such bad tempers. If he smelled like that, he’d be in a permanent bad mood too.
Unable to escape, feeling they were surely doomed, rescue came from an unexpected source: Nosy and Dizzy, fluffed to twice their size and hissing furiously, attacked. The aliens fled in disarray.
