Summary: Now that Buffy is home, she’s so busy keeping everyone else happy she’s not being allowed any time to herself.

A/N: Double drabble.
Buffy did understand it, up to a point. She’d been gone for months, so it made sense that her mom, and Giles too, would want to keep a close eye on her. She hadn’t given them much reason to trust her, especially after her mom caught her during her Welcome Home party, packing her bag, getting ready to leave again.
But that had been a temporary moment of… something. Not insanity, but maybe doubt that the people she loved had really wanted her back. She’d felt like her return was making things harder for everyone than her leaving had, that maybe they’d been better off without her. A stupid thought, but one she hadn’t been able to suppress. Now though…
They wanted to know where she was and what she was doing every second of every day, and it was too much! Every part of her day was being scheduled so precisely she barely had a moment to herself, and maybe that was the plan, but she felt stifled, suffocated, scarcely able to breathe. She couldn’t go on like this. Trying to make everyone around her happy was sucking her dry. She just wanted her life to be normal again.
