Summary: The Doctor tries to settle an argument between two communities.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
It’s just a narrow strip of land, stretching between two islands, nothing particularly exciting, but it’s causing friction between two communities, one on each island, since both insist it belongs to them and that the people of the neighbouring island are trespassing by using it. The Doctor considers the whole situation ridiculous.
“I don’t see what the problem is. You both need to trade with each other, and the only way you can do that is by crossing this strip of land. What would you do if it wasn’t there? It’s a two-mile-long trade route, it shouldn’t belong to anyone!”
