It didn’t matter what she had to do, or how long it took; Rose was determined that somehow, she’d find a way back to the universe she’d come from. She had to, because this wasn’t where she belonged. She needed to be with the Doctor. As much as she loved her mum, her baby brother, and Pete, she loved her Doctor more.
She’d tried so many times already, and each of her plans had failed, but this time was different. This time she let herself feel hopeful. It was going to work.
Without the Doctor she wasn’t living, merely existing.
