Summary: Ianto and Jack pay a brief visit to Cardiff.

A/N: Double drabble. Set in my Ghost of a Chance ‘Verse.
It was strange being back on earth after so long away, Ianto thought as he stood on the Plas staring out across Cardiff Bay. He probably shouldn’t be there, because Torchwood was long gone, and almost everyone who’d ever known him thought he was dead. But he couldn’t return to earth with Jack, even for a flying visit to see Martha and pick up some trade goods, without taking a look at the city that had once been their home.
Ianto knew he’d scarcely changed over the last ten years, one of the benefits of being immortal. He’d let his hair grow a bit longer than he used to wear it, he was tanned from time spent beneath alien suns, and was dressed in casual clothes instead of his trademark suits and ties, but he was still recognisably Ianto Jones.
That was why he was here so early in the morning, with the sun just coming up. It was unlikely he’d run into anyone who’d known him back then at such an ungodly hour.
“Hasn’t changed much, has it?” Jack asked, leaning beside him, also dressed in jeans instead of his WWII era attire.
Ianto smiled. “Still looks like home.”
