Summary: Ianto is not by nature a violent man.

A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto had never considered himself a violent man. He’d got into various scuffles with other kids when he was growing up on the estate, but nothing especially serious. He’d given and received his share of bruises, and the occasional bloody nose, but that was about it.
Joining Torchwood One, despite being a glorified office worker and personal assistant rather than a field agent, he’d received the standard training in both hand-to-hand combat and firearms, but he’d seldom been required to use either outside of the training room or the firing range.
Torchwood Three was different, but even there, at first he was little more than the janitor, coffee boy, and general support. He was efficient at all his tasks, making sure the rest of the team had everything they needed, when they needed it, but most of his attention had been focused on Lisa, caring for her and protecting her. She’d been all that mattered.
Then she’d gone on the rampage, intent on converting everyone, and with everything spiralling out of his control, Ianto had snapped.
Later, when he came to his senses, he couldn’t believe he’d punched Jack. Even more amazing was that Jack hadn’t killed him in retaliation.
