“Just a bit of rain,” the Doctor said brightly. “Nothing to worry about, I’m sure it will soon pass.”
“That’s easy for you to say.” Amy peered out at the rain, mixed with sleet, and hailstones the size of marbles, that was lashing down beyond the cramped, low roofed cave they’d taken refuge in. “I’m not dressed for weather like this. You said it was summer!”
“It is. Don’t you get summer storms back on earth?”
“Yeah, but the temperature doesn’t drop from a balmy eighty degrees to the low forties in the space of five minutes! I’m getting frostbite!”
