Cardiff, Tesco, in the early hours of the morning; the supermarket was closed, the whole place empty. The people who stocked the shelves were gone, and the morning staff wouldn’t be in for a while yet.
The Doctor poked his head out of the TARDIS and smiled, satisfied there was nobody about. He wouldn’t be here long; he just needed to pick up a couple of things, and the new self-service tills made shopping so simple.
He found the biscuit aisle and searched along it until he found the Jammie Dodgers, snagging a dozen packets.
Automated till, sonic screwdriver… Done.
