Summary: Unlike many races, humans share the Doctor’s enthusiasm for adventure.

One thing the Doctor loved about his human companions was that they were always so full of enthusiasm for whatever adventures he propelled them into.
His own people, Time Lords somewhat excepted, weren’t all that keen on adventuring. They were sticklers for rules and regulations but getting out into the universe exploring and, on occasion, interfering tended be looked down on.
A lot of the other races preferred to stick with what they already knew, but not humans. The people of earth were blessed with an insatiable curiosity almost equal to his own. They wanted to see and do everything!
