Summary: General George Hammond considers the cost of Jaffa freedom.

Winning is a great accomplishment, no doubt; after so many years of fighting, the Goa’uld are finally defeated, the Jaffa have their freedom. What they do with it will be up to them; for the first time they get to form their own government, rule their own people, no longer slaves to a more powerful race.
But triumph came at a great price; thousands lost their lives, not just among the Jaffa and their false gods, but humans too. That can’t be ignored.
It remains to be seen whether what humanity has gained in friendship will be worth the cost.
