A/N: Double drabble.
This was Dee’s idea of heaven; himself and Ryo, in his lover’s king-sized bed, with a blizzard blowing outside and nowhere they needed to be until morning.
It wasn’t just about the sex either, although that had been amazing. Both times. Perhaps the wind howling noisily outside had helped to lower Ryo’s inhibitions, because he’d gotten pretty loud, despite knowing that Bikky was asleep in the next room. Well, the kid always wore his earbuds and played loud music when Dee spent the night, to avoid hearing anything.
Whatever. Ryo had been enthusiastic and vocal, and now in the aftermath they were snuggled together beneath the big patchwork comforter he used in winter, warm and cosy, waiting for sleep to take them.
“Mm, I like this,” Ryo sighed. “On cold nights you’re much better than a hot water bottle.”
“I was thinkin’ the same thing,” Dee murmured drowsily. “Nothin’ beats havin’ someone to snuggle with, ‘specially in winter. Thanks for lettin’ me stay.”
“I was just being practical. It’s further to the Precinct from your place; I didn’t want you skipping work on account of the weather. Besides, it’s not without its perks. Now go to sleep.”
“Whatever you say.”
